Medical Staff Services

Medical Staff Services coordinate all medical staff functions and affairs within the parameters established by administration and officers of the medical staff and to serve as a resource to the PMHD community.

Departments served:

• All medical staff departments and leaders
• All clinical and support departments
• Administration and Board of Directors
• Outside regulatory agencies

The Medical Staff Services Office assesses, supports, coordinates and educates the medical staff to assure the standard of care provided by credentialed staff within the health care district environment through:

• Credentialing
• Recredentialing
• Proctoring
• Continuing medical education
• Maintaining emergency department schedules
• Medical staff meeting scheduling, staffing, coordinating and follow-up
• Medical staff bylaws maintenance
• Orientation of new physicians
